Okay, so a TON of stuff to catch up on!! Well, firstly, dad and I went to California for 3 1/2 days. First day we were in San Jose and went to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was awesome!! I really doubt that I can look at another aquarium and enjoy it as much as I did this one. I took the one of the guy taking a picture of the Kelp Bed, I feel good that I can take a good picture every now and then like Kaylenes photos. The Kelp Bed was probably my favorite part of the aquarium. They had power surges moving the water back and forth, so it was like being underwater, it was awesome. The other is a sillhouette of me. The next day, we drove up along the coast to San Francisco. We got to get up close to a lighthouse that had been closed down. Then, when we arrived to San Francisco, we went to a place called the exploratorium, it is basically all these small science exhibits, really neat. The timing for us was bad though, there were a lot of schools on field trips that day, so you would go to look at an exhibit, and a kid would push in front of you, oh well, it was still cool. Then that night, we went to see the Broadway Musical "Wicked" It was a little different than I expected, but it was still awesome and hilarious like I expected. And, funnily enough, as Dad and I were walking into the theater, a guy tapped us and asked if we were from utah, surprised I turned around and said yes we are. It turns out that he lives in another ward in our stake and was also going to see wicked with his wife. Talk about it's a small world after all! So then we got down in our seats, and guess who turns out sitting behind us, them again. So we got to chat with them and it was pretty neat, really nice people. When the play ended, we walked back to our hotel and slept very nicely. Third day we took some cable cars down to Fishermans Wharf. We got to ride on the outside which was really cool. We walked around, saw some sea lions, watched a comedy act, had lunch at a sourdough bread place, and then went back on cable cars and partly subway. Then we went to our last hotel, it was big! They gave us a king-sized bed, and the bathtub was big enough to fit 2-3 people in it. They also had dials which could turn the bathtub into a jacuzzi. Next day, we woke up, had breakfast, and then went to the airport to come home, so all in all, a really good trip. I know that was big enough to be it's own post, but there is more. I also turned 18 years old, finally. And what was really cool was that I received my Melchizedek Priesthood on my birthday. I had family come and I got to have my two best friends come and attend. Then afterwards we went home and had dinner in celebration. Kyle had to go to his younger brothers eagle court of honor, but Matt got to come home and enjoy it with us. When we were done, I sent Matt home with some extra cake for his parents to thank them for letting Matt come. I had an awesome time this past month, now it's time for work. Now I get to look for a job in multiple places. But it's still been good.

Time for a new post!! SPRING BREAK NEXT WEEK!!!! YESS!!!!! Finally a break from stupid school. I love it, but am so sick of it right now. Friday....more break :). Well, broke off the plans of asking kayla to prom.....apparently she is going with someone else... There are more fish in the sea though. I'm pretty bummed, but my friends are too cool and they treat me probably more than I deserve. I love them, they make my day a LOT brighter :) So for now....I don't know who or if I will ask someone to prom. It's all this and that. So we are almost done with our yearbook!! I am on the staff and have been for three years straight. It's too stressful, but I am glad to say that I was in it and that I am the advertising/business manager :). So I offered to the walkers to babysit for them this weekend or the next. Turns out that they don't really need it. DANG IT!!! Oh well, they sounded positive about it so I hope I can do it soon. And they said we should get together again. SWEET!!!! So hopefully it will happen soon, maybe I should offer mom to help her next time so we can do it sooner, last time it took lots of energy out of her.

Oh my, it has been way too long since my last bog. Well, I have had a great semester so far. Our last dance was the sweethearts dance. I took a girl named Kayla, very cute and all I could really ask for. The date was fun and so was the dance. A boy in our ward moved away and we all miss him terribly. But another boy turned 16, so we are trying to stitch back the scars. I have forced myself to read the 2nd and 3rd books of twilight, my memory got rusty and I had to read them again. For yearbook, we are doing senior profiles. We get to do a few pictures and quotes or other things like a major or something in there. I am excited to see how mine will turn out. Shelly and I have had some fun with the easter peeps and me with photoshop. It was moms and shellys birthday this last weekend. Their birthday is on the same day in case you guys didn't know.Countdown till I am 18!!!! argh, almost two months, exciting, but nervewracking at the same time. And highschool....almost done!! I can't believe it, I am almost there, it's going to be sad. (I'm a sucker for friends). And Kyle (My best friend forever!) is less than a year till he is going to be nineteen and on a mission!!!! I told him I would be bawling at his farewell, he said I couldn't come, but He probably will be too. We have been best friends really ever since about fifth or sixth grade. I've followed him everywhere and he has followed me too. Yesterday we had Sam and Sara and the Walkers over. Jenny Walker is my cousin and is married to Tim Walker. They have six kids (Rebecca, Price, Josh, Ethan, Emma, and Annie) so we got to have some fun with them. Most of my time was with Price and Josh, eleven year old twins. Oh my gosh, they take the energy out of me, but I had the best time with them. They are very energetic and it was great fun to go on a walk with them in the cemetery. I keep telling mom and dad we need to do it again soon. I hope we are able to :) If you have any questions, I am open, I will check this more often now.

Well, not much lately, I have been working on my photoshop skills and been enjoying it. Sadies gets closer and closer with every second. I countdown and tell my friends every day. exciting news!!! Kevin and Kaylene are moving back to utah!!! In less than a month too! Oh boy are we all excited. Lately I have been exhausted even though I get so much sleep..... weird I know. I finally met Toa a few days ago, Sam and Saras dog. HE IS SO ADORABLE!!!! and quiet. I almost fell in love once I saw him. Sam was talking about going birding which of course sparked my interest, but his schedule sorta backed me up on asking. Oh well, hearing that he's doing good is enough for me. My best friend EVER got asked to sadies. I was freaking out so much when he got the invitation!!!! His family thanked me because i sort of pulled the strings. But he is WAY excited and will enjoy it I am sure.

Break Time

Well, it's UEA break! I only get two days off unlike all the other schools, but at least it's something. A LOT has happened since my last post. We had family pictures and I personally think they turned out well. Of course we did have some mishaps, all four of them running around and one cracking his head open. But we got my senior pictures done thanks to kaylene! :) Funny story on the picture of Mom and I. Well it is one of my facebook profile pictures and I invited a teacher to be a friend. So one wednesday morning, I walk in with some friends into his class. He turns and asks me "hey dallin, is that your girlfriend on your facebook profile picture??" I was like....that's my mom! That's your MOM??? She looked like she was 18-19 years old!! I was like.......no. It happened that he only saw the picture when it was really small. But it is still a funny story! Stress comes along as midterms are popping up everywhere as well as all the other tests from my classes. I finally got to see my best friend the other day after weeks of only getting to see him on sunday or a few glimpses in school. I tell you, it gets tougher without seeing him for a long time. I have found my favorite actor and now I tell anyone who asks me that it is Ben Stiller, I guess it came on from watching Madagascar and Night at the Museum. Some of my friends and I have been discussing about going to a chess tournament that is coming up soon up in ogden. We are very excited and are practicing as much as we can so we can do great. I'm totally pumped for it seeing as we are the top five kids in our school that plays chess. Of course I am more like the third or fourth in the ranks, but I can beat Carissa/Eric and they have been playing for years while I have only been playing for about two years. They have told me I have improved a LOT since last year and I am happy to hear it. It also helps on how I can beat my oldest brother Sam at chess. Last time we played we did three games, I won the first, Sam won the second, and I got a stalemate on the third, so we are still tied. Update on Sadie Hawkins Dance: We now have seven couples in our group and the girls aren't telling us guys what the plan is. I have been called 21, 22, 18,19, and 20 years old by college students and I laugh as I tell them that I am actually 17 and I try to explain to them the concepts of UCAS. But that's basically it to sum up these past few weeks! And I'll try to be better on getting them earlier!

Hi everyone, Kevin, Kaylene, and the boys have arrived in utah! We have had a chance to visit with them and Nathan. Some great news is that I got asked to sadies hawkins. It is November 15th and the plans sound great! We are either going to "jump on it" (a trampoline place) or going on a scavenger hunt. I actually was going to be asked by other girls too, guess i'm popular :). I have also been a "relationship" counselor to many of my friends lately and it is nice to see most of my plans workout. The ones that haven't were caused by misunderstanding. Stress mounts as school gets more difficult and trying to find time to spend with Kevin, Kaylene and the kids. Picture day is planned for this next monday, and boy i am expecting it to be hectic with the little kids. Aiden now calls me "dawin" and all the other uncles "guy". I chuckle about it because Michael did almost the exact same thing when he was aidens age. It makes me realize what a role model I might be to them and adds even more on the stress. I've found a new favorite song, thanks to aunt margie! It is "the call" by regina spektor. It is soooooo cool! I have been listening to it for a few days over and over. That's about it so far, so i'll try to find more stuff for the next post!

COUNTDOWN!!!

Hi everyone! Well, school is going along, slowly but surely. Only five days until Nathan Rawlings comes home and Kevin, Kaylene, and the three boys are coming up from Texas. Wow, aren't we all ready for this! We are all excited to be able to spend time with such a great family we all love. Well, not much about me really, except I am considering buying a still picture camera. I'm totally stoked to have it. But besides that, there isn't much I can say about myself. Just that I am tired as usual in high school. Not much homework this week, it's nice but sorta annoying.
